Woohoo! I had a great weekend at Retro Con. 🙂 As I said in my last post, I plan on returning to this convention next year. It was lots of fun! It’s definitely a niche convention, so I would have to bring more 80’s inspired artwork. I still did okay for my first appearance. More photos and convention review after the Jump!
I had lots of work to finish up this weekend, so I decided to finish up on this piece I couldn’t finish in time for Awesome Con. I will add more finishing touches, but I feel like I am pushing 40+ hours on this thing. Meh, whatever it takes to get done.
I’m taking a break from Elsa. She’s hard for me to do right now and I don’t have lots of time from now until the next con. I have to think more on how I can make it stand out from the rest of the Elsa pieces. Soooooo, I’m hoping to have this Wonder Woman done by the end of the week, finish up another piece and maybe get back to Elsa. Enjoy!
I’m setting up my Newsletters as a better way to keep in contact with new fans! Facebook only shows a Page’s updates to a small percentage of the fans… until you pay them more money for advertising. Welp, the newsletters are better for periodical updates (2x or once a month) and I get to feel ‘Official’, haha! Just started preparing small prints (8×10″ frames w/ 5×7″ photo window) for my online stores. They will be $15 (includes shipping) and will feature most of the new work previously featured on the site. If you would like to get a list of the pieces for small prints or would like to reserve one, email email@example.com
