Hello all! I am finally ready for this weekend’s Awesome Con! You can find me in Artist Alley at Table i-8 with some new work . I will be selling prints and drawing commissions for fans! I love this convention because I see my DC area friends again. Hope to see everyone soon!
The Atlantic City Boardwalk Con took place this past weekend on May 13th – May 15th. I went with my hubby on Sunday to have some geeky fun! I didn’t have a table so I enjoyed walking around the show floor. We picked up two adorable shirts from Tee Turtle. They really fit our favorite hobby. I had lots of fun talking to creators like Pat Shand, Sorah Suhng and Mike Capprotti. Artist’s Alley is always my favorite place at comic conventions because I end up making new friends! Here are some photos I managed to get while I was there.
Now, I have to get ready for Awesome Con! See you all soon! 🙂
The Great Philadelphia Comic Con has come and gone! It was my second appearance for me and it went down this past weekend! (4/22-4/24). Once again, it was a very fun convention! Saw lots of new and familiar faces! I want to thank everyone who stopped by my table. I truly appreciate it! Visit my Online Store if you weren’t able to stop by this weekend!
More photos and my review of the con are after the jump!
The work above is currently available at The Great Philadelphia Comic Con. Today is the final day of the event and I’ll be set up at table D11, right behind Amber Davis Art. More artwork will be coming up for Awesome Con!
If you’re not able to make the show, please visit my online store: Square Shop
Happy International Women’s Day! These phenomenal women are only a short list of my inspirations! Top left to right: Nichelle Nichols of Star Trek with a way too excited fan (me), Tina Modotti, Ariell Johnson of Amalgam Comics & Coffeehouse, Faith Ringgold, Celia Cruz, and Lee Krasner!
Still a Work In Progress
Photoshop CC & Wacom Pen & Touch- 2016
Hello! It’s 18 days into the new year, so of course I have to catch up with a blog post!
New Work in Progress & My First Convention of 2016
This Arya Stark piece was started in 2015 and I’m still not done. 😦 Life gets in the way and more discipline is needed to finish during the weekends. Since I commute a long way to and from my day job, it’s a little tough to be in front of a another computer right after a 8-9 hour day. After Arya, I will have a Danaerys and maybe a Jon Snow in time for the Game of Thrones premiere.
The Great Philadelphia Comic Con will be my first convention of 2016. I’m not entirely sure of the other events I want to catch, but most likely will try to get to the ones from last year. I will still look out for new places I can travel to.
Is he or isn’t he?? You know what, don’t tell me yet. 😛
