Hey everyone! So sorry for not posting in a while! I took a bit of a Winter break and went to catch Paint The Revolution at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It was a snowy day but I’m very happy that I got to see this amazing exhibit! Romantic, Political, Colorful, and everything in between. I went to Paint The Revolution on the final weekend and I also became a member of the Art Museum. I pushed myself to go despite the weather because I actually missed the Frida Kahlo exhibit when I used to live at a nearby campus. I think I made up for it this time!
See the special and regular exhibition pics after the jump! Which ones were your favorite?
(Please consider donating or becoming a member of the museum here)
I’m so glad I started watching Westworld on HBO. It definitely reignited a desire for creativity. I am so glad that this and my last commission helped me get out of my artistic slump. I made this on the Procreate App as a study/art therapy. I have a few more favorite characters from the show to try out!
Good Afternoon! I’ve been away for a while since I am in the middle of a few commissions. The above image shows the piece that I’m doing for a nice fellow I met at WW Philadelphia 2014. It’s not finished yet as a few more key things have to be toned down and highlighted. If you’re interested in working with me, feel free to shoot a message to firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks!
I’m taking a break from Elsa. She’s hard for me to do right now and I don’t have lots of time from now until the next con. I have to think more on how I can make it stand out from the rest of the Elsa pieces. Soooooo, I’m hoping to have this Wonder Woman done by the end of the week, finish up another piece and maybe get back to Elsa. Enjoy!
This is the first of many progress shots of my version of Elsa. The whole piece may change, but I’ll see where this takes me. Everyone else is doing Frozen, so why not? 😛 This piece will actually open up another Disney series I have in mind. Not saying what it is yet… stay tuned.
It’s time to flex my creative and professional muscles this season. If you are published and looking for a book cover artist or just looking to have a portrait done for friends & family members, please send portrait requests to email@example.com
Serious Inquiries only. Please visit the Commissions page for more info and fill out the form. My past blog posts are examples of where I excel.
I’m setting up my Newsletters as a better way to keep in contact with new fans! Facebook only shows a Page’s updates to a small percentage of the fans… until you pay them more money for advertising. Welp, the newsletters are better for periodical updates (2x or once a month) and I get to feel ‘Official’, haha! Below is a screenshot (and photo link) of my Directory of Illustration Portfolio. Be sure to visit often since I’m currently updating and working towards getting an Artist Rep to help with getting clients.
