Woohoo! I had a great weekend at Retro Con. :) As I said in my last post, I plan on returning to this convention next year. It was lots of fun! It’s definitely a niche convention, so I would have to bring more 80’s inspired artwork. I still did okay for my first appearance. More photos and convention review after the Jump!
Hello Folks! Here’s a new post & quick update on my convention appearances: I will be going to Retro Con this weekend! It will be my first time there as a vendor and I’m pretty excited. I will also be displaying this WW piece at the convention. ☺️
Hello Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! I took a few days to recover from the Philly Geek Awards which happened on 8/15. I went with my boyfriend and we met up with some awesome artists, museum staff and some of the fellow geeks who were nominated that night. The ceremony took place at The Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. My day job was one of the sponsors that made it happen, and I hope that we return for next year’s awards! Thanks so much to Geekadelphia for making an amazing show for Philly Geeks!
Hey folks! I know it’s been a while since life is happening. :P I recently finished a Star Trek commission for an amazing fan! I did this piece for Lady J Cosplay after meeting her at the Great Philadelphia Comic Con. She’s such an awesome Uhura! This piece will be sent out this week and I’m so glad she likes it!
If you or a buddy would like to be my portrait subject, email me! firstname.lastname@example.org
Awesome Con 2015 has come and gone! It was my 2nd year appearing in Artist Alley and I had a pretty good experience. I was at the tail end of one of the aisles, but I still had a pretty good turnout. I want to thank everyone soooo much for visiting me at the event! More photos and review/log of events after the jump! XOXO
2/3 of the Pond Family complete! Woooo! I’m getting these ready for Awesome Con this week and I’ve spent most of my Memorial Day Weekend polishing details. Two down, one more to go! Can you guess who the last one is? :P

I had a wonderful time at Wizard World Philadelphia! This year, I was a spectator instead of in Artist Alley. I helped out my job who had a booth at the convention. My job also hosted a post-con party with Wizard World at The Field House. I only had time for 1 drink since I had to catch a train. :(
I had a wonderful Saturday celebrating Free Comic Book Day and Maifest in Philadelphia! I picked up comics from Atomic City Comics after waiting in a pretty long line. It was really fun and a great experience! FCBD brings a large crowd for comics fans. The crowds were already pretty large for the Spring Festival celebration which had food vendors, artists and live music. Here are a few pictures from Spring Festival & Free Comic Book Day!
The Great Philadelphia Comic Con has come and gone! It was a local convention for me during the weekend of April 3rd-5th. It was great to be at a convention so close to home! I’m glad I went since I met my friends again and possibly made more!
More photos and my review of the con are after the jump!
Hello, All! I’ve been busy with the day job (and snow days!), so I’d like to post what I’m doing for convention season. I may have more Walking Dead and other pieces to post in the near future. The problem is that I always hate lots of things I work on, haha! This is already one of my favorite pieces, and I don’t have many. :D

It finally came! My entry is on page 406 and this is filled with crazy-talented illustrators from around the globe. The objective of this directory is to get illustrators seen by the publishers or anyone who hires freelancers. I would like to get my work published as book covers but I know I have a lot of work ahead of me to achieve that goal. Since I also work full-time it will be a fun challenge for me. If you’re in the same boat, the hardest part is planning out time to do your own projects after spending 8-9 hours doing the same for the day job. It’s going to be a tough road, but I am willing to work for it.
This past weekend was spent visiting The Great Allentown Comic Con. I was excited to meet Nichelle Nichols of Star Trek! This was my first time attending the con, so I decided to stop by as a visitor to see potential for exhibiting there for next year.
